Job Seekers Productivity Places Program - The Queensland Government has launched a new initiative to assist eligible people gain new skills or gain a qualification under the 2009-2010 Queensland Productively Places Program. These FREE training courses are now available or eligible candidates from 1st April 2009! HB Training has been awarded funding under this program for the following qualifications: • Certificate II, III & IV in Business • Certificate II & III in Customer Contact • Certificate III & IV in Business Administration • Certificate III in Financial Services – Accounts Clerical • Certificate IV in Financial Services – Accounting • Certificate II & III in Retail Participants will need to meet the following eligibility criteria: Must be under 15 years or over and are: i) Australian citizens; Permanent residents of Australia living in Queensland; or Humanitarian refugees. Jobseekers that are: i) Registered with an Employment Services Provider ii) An income support recipient iii) Not working and intending to seek employment iv) Not working but are participating in volunteering activities Must NOT be an Apprentices, trainees or Secondary school students n.b Other conditions may apply Flexible delivery options include; • Classroom (possible 6 to 10 week course – 2 - 4 days per week, school hours) • Or Mixed mode/Self paced (1 day study group each week) HB - Helping businesses and individuals to grow and develop.
