Toowoomba based role, salary: $70K-$80K + Super (Depending on Experience), 38 hours per week with flexible start and finish times
Our client, a reputable energy services provider operating across Queensland, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing complex invoicing and revenue processes across drilling and well servicing operations. This includes:
- Preparing and submitting invoices for:
- Drilling and Well Servicing – rig operations
- Recurring and ad-hoc third-party on-charges
- Equipment rental (day rate)
- Rig moves and camp charges
- Managing invoicing requirements for clients
- Liaising with rig personnel to ensure invoice accuracy and compliance
- Preparing weekly 8-week cashflow forecasts
- Ensuring all third-party costs are accurately invoiced and accrued monthly
- Receipting customer payments and preparing debtor reports
- Engaging with stakeholders to manage disputes and credit notes
- Supporting external and internal audits
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
- Proven background in accounts receivable and revenue reconciliation
- High attention to detail and strong data entry capabilities
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Experience working in or supporting large-scale operations or the energy sector (highly regarded)
