Personal Assistant

Permanent, part-time opportunity for experienced and capable Personal Assistant – 20 hours per week. Work days and hours to be discussed at interview
Our client, a fast-growing small business based in Toowoomba but servicing national and international clients, is seeking a permanent, part-time Personal Assistant to commence in June 2021. We are seeking candidates willing to work 20 hours per week – final days and hours to be discussed and confirmed at interview.

The part-time Personal Assistant will provide senior administrative support to a very busy Manager, enabling the business to become as productive and efficient as possible.  Key accountabilities include:

  • Undertaking a variety of high quality and timely administrative tasks to assist and support the Business Owner
  • Coordinating meetings, job orders and attendance at events/exhibitions
  • Managing travel and accommodation arrangements 
  • Preparing presentations and reports as directed by Business Owner
  • Coordinating sales/leasing of buildings and property
  • Managing relationships with key customers as required
  • Supporting effective Inbox management including flagging urgent emails

Applicants for this role will possess the following skills and attributes:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar support role
  • Proven ability to prioritise and multi-task in a high paced environment
  • Ability to accurately prepare documentation to deadlines
  • High level technical skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Be driven, motivated and a self-starter
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
