Administration/ Accounts Officer

Seeking an experienced Administration Officer with the desire to get into Finance in Toowoomba IT business, Permanent, full-time, uniforms provided,
Due to growth, an exciting opportunity for a permanent, full-time, confident Administration Officer has become available with a very successful  I.T company based in Toowoomba. 

Ideally, the suitable candidate will have a strong background in Administration, with experience in, with the desire to get into Finance/Accounts. Applicants must be adaptable, flexible and open to change. 

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Processing invoices
  • Customer service – responding to enquiries, following up on overdue accounts, maintain accurate customer records
  • Daily, monthly and yearly financial reconciliations
  • Assisting in budget preparation
  • General office support
  • Assisting in the procurement of stock, stocktakes and the management of assets

To be successful for this role you will need:

  • A positive attitude with a desire to learn and grow your career 
  • Xero, Employment Hero, ConnectWise and WiseSync software is highly desirable, but not essential as training is provided
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong work ethic and a team player 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Basic knowledge in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll and Xero is highly desired, but not essential as training will be provided for the right person
