Service Desk Officers EOI

Seeking expressions of interest for experienced ICT Service Desk Officers for contractual roles with Toowoomba Government organisation.
The HB Group is working with a large, Toowoomba-based Government organisation seeking expressions of interest for skilled ICT Service Desk Officers to join their team and play a pivotal role in maintaining the organisation’s IT operations.  These roles are temporary/contractual to commence as soon as possible.

In this technical support role, you will resolve software and hardware issues, manage user accounts, ensure adherence to security protocols, document procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT services.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in an IT support role, with strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of IT systems and best practices. Exceptional customer service and communication abilities are essential, as you will be the point of contact for end-users and must ensure their issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
  
Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support and resolve software and hardware issues
  • Manage user accounts and ensure adherence to security protocols
  • Document procedures and contribute to the continuous improvement of IT services
  • Deliver excellent customer service and effective communication with end-users

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in an IT support role
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of IT systems
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • C Class Driver’s license.
