Our client, a family-owned grocery store located in Crows Nest, is on the lookout for a dedicated Store Manager to join their friendly team.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in a busy store. Your focus will be on delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and leading a committed team to uphold the high standards that customers expect. From managing inventory and merchandising to ensuring smooth store operations, you will play a vital role in the store’s continued success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and manage the store team to foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee inventory management, stock levels, and ordering to ensure optimal product availability.
- Maintain high standards of store presentation, cleanliness, and merchandising.
- Manage staff rosters and performance to achieve efficient staffing levels.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and effectively resolve any issues.
- Focus on profitability and drive sales results.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong background in retail management, preferably within grocery stores.
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to oversee operations in a high-traffic store and drive team performance.
- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
