Our client, a successful, award winning Real Estate firm has an opening for an entry level Inspections Officer/Assistant Property Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone wishing to start their career in the lucrative real estate sector!
Whilst a Real Estate Licence is required to undertake this role, our client is willing to support the successful candidate through this course if not already completed.
Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, the Inspections Officer is responsible for accurately reporting on the condition of the properties our client manages in a timely manner and reporting on any visual repairs or preventative maintenance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carry out routine inspection reports in line with company standards.
- Report any repairs or cleaning to the Property Manager through routine report and email
- Ensure the completed report with photos is sent to the Property Manager within 24 hours
- Ensure all items on Routine Inspection checklist are checked & tenant interaction procedure is followed.
- Procedures for rescheduling are adhered to at all times
Applicants for this role should possess the following skills and experience:
- Must have (or be willing to) register with Office of Fair Trade and obtain a Real Estate Salesperson Licence/Registration
- Experience in the real estate industry preferred but not essential
- A current Drivers Licence
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level attention to detail
- Outstanding time management ability
- Willingness to learn
- Team Player
