The HB Group is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our busy, growing Blue Collar division.
Ideally, the successful candidate would come from a blue collar recruitment environment, or have a solid understanding of the trades and/or construction sector. You will have developed the ability to build instant rapport with employees and clients and have excellent administration, HR and customer service skills.
The Role involves:
- Recruiting for blue collar positions
- Performance management of casual workforce
- Sort through online resumes for suitable candidates
- Book inductions and interviews for candidates
- Conduct interviews and reference checks
- Use our recruitment database to enter candidate information
- Ensure all administration and compliance is accurate and up to date
- Establish and build relationships with clients
- Possess a comprehensive appreciation of workplace, health and safety practices
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- A proactive and energetic approach to your work
- Exceptional time management skills
- An understanding and appreciation of compliance
- An understanding of interpreting EBA’s and Awards – or the willingness to learn
- Excellent customer service
- A strong internal and external rapport with key stakeholders
- Able to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Intermediate-to-advanced computer and MS office skills
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
