Excellent opportunity for a proactive and energetic candidate to join Toowoomba’s Leading Recruitment Agency as a Recruiter (Trades & Services).

The HB Group is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Recruitment Consultant to join our busy, growing Blue Collar division.

Ideally, the successful candidate would come from a blue collar recruitment environment, or have a solid understanding of the trades and/or construction sector. You will have developed the ability to build instant rapport with employees and clients and have excellent administration, HR and customer service skills.

The Role involves:

  • Recruiting for blue collar positions
  • Performance management of casual workforce
  • Sort through online resumes for suitable candidates
  • Book inductions and interviews for candidates
  • Conduct interviews and reference checks
  • Use our recruitment database to enter candidate information
  • Ensure all administration and compliance is accurate and up to date
  • Establish and build relationships with clients
  • Possess a comprehensive appreciation of workplace, health and safety practices

The successful applicant will demonstrate:

  • A proactive and energetic approach to your work
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • An understanding and appreciation of compliance
  • An understanding of interpreting EBA’s and Awards – or the willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service
  • A strong internal and external rapport with key stakeholders
  • Able to multi-task in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Intermediate-to-advanced computer and MS office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
