What is your greatest source of enjoyment at the HB Group?

I get the most satisfaction from building long-term relationships with our clients. Many of the businesses we support come back to us time and time again because they know we "get them." Whether it’s finding the right person for a crucial role or helping them navigate a tricky HR situation, I love being someone they can rely on.


Where do you feel you add value to clients who are seeking recruitment and/or HR support?

Our clients tell us they appreciate how hands-on and responsive we are. I make it a priority to understand not only what they need today, but where their business is heading. That means I can help them find people who aren’t just a match for the role, but for the future of the company. Whether it's a small business looking for its first hire or a larger team navigating change, I bring a calm, clear, and practical approach.


What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given in your career?

“Know your client’s business like it’s your own.” That’s guided me from day one. The more I understand their industry, values, and team dynamics, the better I can support them — and the more value I can bring, especially when things are moving quickly.


If you asked a client to describe you, what would they say?

They’d probably say I’m approachable, proactive, and that I genuinely care. I often hear things like “you’re part of our team” or “you just get how we work,” which is exactly what I aim for. I’m not just ticking boxes — I’m thinking ahead and looking out for their best interests.
