Retail Salesperson, Safety Products, Permanent Full-Time, Toowoomba, $55,000- $65,000 + Super
Our client, a well-established family-owned business based in Toowoomba, specialising in all things safety, are seeking a full-time Retail Salesperson to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, knowledgeable workplace that values quality customer service and long-term relationships.
Location: Toowoomba, QLD
Salary Range: $55,000 – $60,000 + Super
Hours: Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm + One Saturday per month: 9:00am – 12:00pm (on a rotating roster)
As a Retail Salesperson, you’ll play a hands-on role in the day-to-day operations of a busy safety equipment store. This includes assisting customers in-store, supporting warehouse and sales teams, maintaining store presentation, and processing orders. You will be part of a small, supportive team within a business that has served the Darling Downs region for over 18 years.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Prompt and accurate processing of counter sales
- Daily tasks such as balancing the till, filing, and store upkeep
- Stock unpacking, presentation, and monitoring of levels
- Assisting with embroidery: unpacking, folding, and packing
- Picking orders to support internal sales and warehouse teams
- Administering in-store sales promotions
- Participating in stocktakes
- Handling credit claims and customer enquiries professionally
- Supporting Admin, Sales, and Customer Service teams
- Proactively seeking tasks and offering assistance to others
- Developing strong product knowledge and technical understanding
