Our client is a prestigious private residency nestled in the heart of natural beauty. This idyllic location boasts a reputation for excellence. We are seeking a Groundskeeper who will play a pivotal role in elevating and maintaining the residency’s breathtaking garden. This is a full-time, permanent position working 38 hours per week.
The Role: As the Residency Groundskeeper, you will have the unique opportunity to blend your passion for flora with your expertise in grounds maintenance. This role calls for a candidate who is both a team player, capable of working under direction for special projects, and an autonomous worker, responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the garden.
Responsibilities:
- Care for a diverse range of plants, trees, and flowers across the residency.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance the garden’s aesthetic appeal.
- Execute planned garden improvements and enhancements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as pruning, weeding, watering, mulching, and fertilizing.
- Safeguard the health and vitality of the garden through pest and disease management.
- Maintain garden equipment and tools in good working order.
- Continuously seek opportunities to elevate the garden’s beauty and serenity.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in groundskeeping or landscaping.
- In-depth knowledge of flora and horticulture principles.
- Passion for creating and maintaining exquisite gardens.
- Trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to the estate’s changing needs.

- Qualifications/Certificates in horticulture, gardening, landscape construction or related field.
