Experienced Duty Manager required for a well established, award winning restaurant in the heart of Toowoomba City, fantastic team and great $$$
Love the buzz of a busy pub, late-night laughs, and being at the heart of the action? Our client, Toowoomba’s most iconic family-owned hotel, is on the hunt for a full-time Duty Manager to join their energetic, fun-loving crew!
This role isn’t your standard 9–5 – you’ll need to be available for late nights and weekends, because that’s when the real magic happens ��
The hotel has a proud and rich history in Toowoomba and is the go-to spot for amazing food, cold drinks, great functions, and unbeatable vibes – seven days a week.
What you’ll be doing (aka your time to shine):
- Opening and closing the hotel like a pro
- Keeping the good times rolling by assisting senior management with day-to-day operations
- Leading and supporting the team – rostering, training, and making sure everyone’s on their A-game
- Staying on top of stock, ordering, and keeping the bar flowing
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, health & safety (while keeping it fun)
- Handling customer feedback with a smile and a solution
- Creating smooth handovers for the next Duty Manager
- Cash handling and investigating variances
- Maintaining high service standards and keeping the hotel spotless
- Basically, being the go-to person that makes everything run like clockwork!
What we’re looking for:
✔ RSA, RSG & RMLV qualifications
✔ Experience running a hotel venue with strong staff management skills
✔ Excellent communication and people skills (you know how to keep customers and staff happy!)
✔ Someone who thrives in a busy, fun, and social environment
