Our client, a Local Government department is seeking multiple Concreters for a temp contact role until June 2024, with a possible extension.
Location: Wyreema
Hours: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm with a 20-minute smoko and 1/2-hour lunch break. No Saturday works planned. Start and finish onsite.
Pay: $34.81-$45.75 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Perform concrete finishing, pouring, and leveling according to project specifications.
- Operate hand and power tools necessary for concrete work.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a concreter.
- Concreting experience is essential.
- Experience in steel tying and formwork is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
PPE Requirements:
- Hi-Vis long pants and long sleeve shirts.
- Steel cap boots (no elastic-sided).
- Broad-brimmed hat (no caps).
- Mandatory gloves to be worn during manual tasks.
- Hard hat required at times.
